The World Is in Great Trouble : How about us? (By Pastor Fernie Romero)
Many of us today were so worried because most of the time we are focusing on things of this
world and not of the WORLD to come. Many times we are working too much because we
want to secure our future but we are still uncertain for our tomorrow.
Worry is to think about problem that might happen in a way that makes us feel unhappy.
According to Corrie Ten Boom; Worrying is carrying tomorrows load with today’s strength-
carrying two days at once. So worrying is a waste of time and energy. The bible tells us in
Proverbs 12: 25 worries drains our energy and causes us depression. and if we are depressed
we are there are much possibility that we gives and opportunity to the devil to our thoughts. In
Ephesians 4:27 it says; “do not give opportunity to the devil”. And in Mark 4:12 reminds us that
worries in life can make us unfruitful. And of course worries ca destroy our faith. Because
worry is the opposite of faith and trust in God. That is why God doesn’t want us to worry.
Why worry? God’s Word clearly is telling us in Mathew 6:25-34 that we should not worry
about our life. God is telling us not worry about anything even about our tomorrow for He
knows all what we need. Instead of worrying, all of us needs to seek first all the heavenly
things and God’s righteousness.worry noto f seeking all things but seek first the source of all
things. Because He will surely enough provides what we all needs, Philippians 4:19.
My fellow believers in Christ, instead of worrying about everything, we have pray for
everything. Because worry replaced with prayer the result is trust. Yes, we have to trust fully
to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and surrender everything to Him because he truly cares
for us. Let us always look up on high and le tus claim and experiece the power of His WORD.
Let no problems and worries, nor anyone shaken your faith in the Lord.
“Do not be anxious about anything , but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with
thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of god, which transcends all
understing, will guard your hearts, your minds in Christ Jesus”, Philippians4:6,7.
